Dr. Scott Zentner, M.D.
Dr. Scott Zentner, MD is a native of Monroe, LA. Following graduation from Neville High School, he completed his undergraduate training from the college of engineering at Texas A&M University. After working for a year as a sales engineer in the oil and gas industry, he opted for a career change and began pre-medicine studies at Northeast Louisiana University, where he matriculated for 16 months until acceptance into medical school at LSU Health Sciences Center in Shreveport.
Dr. O. Stephen Carter, M.D.
Dr. Carter finished Medical School at L.S.U School of Medicine in Shreveport, LA where he received the Adrian Reed Award, which is given to the graduating Senior who best demonstrates the qualities of “scientist, physician, teacher and friend”. He was also awarded the Doctor-Patient Relationship Award from the Shreveport medical society indicating the graduate who is best exemplar of positive attitudes of the doctor to his patients.
Dr. William McCown, Ph.D., Clinical Psychologist
William McCown, Ph.D., is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist and professor who specializes in psychological testing and assessment of children, teens, and adults. He has more than 30 years of testing and therapy experience.
Dr. Charles Gagnon, Ed.D., LMFT, LPC, NCC
Dr. Charles Gagnon brings with him 27 years of counseling experience. He is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LA# 948) and a Licensed Professional Counselor (LA# 1973). He is also an LPC board approved supervisor for Counselor Interns. In addition to licensure, Charles holds special certifications with the National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC #33683). He is a National Certified Counselor (NCC) and a Certified Clinical Mental Health Counselor (CCMHC).
Dr. John D. "Jodey" Edwards, Ed.D., NCC, LPC-S
Dr. Edwards is from West Monroe, LA. He is happily married, and he and his wife have three children ranging in age from 4 to 14 years old. He attended West Monroe High School, Northeast Louisiana University, Louisiana Tech University, and the University of Louisiana at Monroe. In his senior year of high school, he enlisted in the Louisiana Army National Guard where he served for seven years. He earned two certificates of accommodation and the Army Achievement Medal during his military service.
Dr. Bethany Simmons, PhD, LMFT, LPC
Dr. Bethany Simmons is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LA #1127) and an AAMFT Approved Supervisor Candidate. Dr. Simmons received her bachelor’s degree from Penn State University. She earned her master’s degree and doctorate degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Louisiana at Monroe. Dr. Simmons currently serves as the Secretary for the Louisiana Association for Marriage and Family Therapy Executive Board.
Whitney C. Walker, M.A., L.P.C.
Whitney Walker provides therapeutic services to individuals, couples, and families with diverse backgrounds and issues. Ms. Walker is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LA # 4738) registered in the state of Louisiana. She approaches therapy from a systemic perspective, meaning that she focuses on the interactions and relationship patterns among all parts of the client's system (family, school, work, social, etc).

Mrs. Trussell is a Licensed Professional Counselor(LA#950) and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LA#3055). Lisa is a native of the Monroe West Monroe area with an undergraduate degree from ULM in speech therapy with an additional certification in deaf education. She received her Masters degree in Professional Counseling from Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA.
